You might remember James Kicinski-McCoy from our tour of her beautiful Nashville home earlier this summer. A mother, store owner, and editorial mind, James is incredibly talented and accomplished. As a creative person, she also happens to have great taste. Her style is easy and feminine, with a strong appreciation for natural textures and classic design. Given that, I thought she’d be the perfect person to put together a holiday gift guide for us this year.
James is shopping for her four kids and her husband along with some extended family and friends this year, and gravitated towards the more minimalist but highly textural pieces on our site. Victoria Morris pottery for family gifts, Sylvain Le Hen hair accessories for her daughters, Baserange’s ribbed socks and Mad et Len candles for her friends, and a few things for herself too. “I love the red laces on the Jenni Kayne hiking boots”, she told us, while also selecting a cashmere fisherman sweater and equally touchable knit beanie by Lauren Manoogian. See all of James’ picks for the gift-giving season, below. XXJKE
