Lauri Kranz, founder of Edible Gardens LA, is someone I connected with instantly upon meeting her years ago. I consider her a close friend and I value the time we spend together working in the garden—it’s meditative, relaxing and informative. Not only do I believe in her philosophy about embracing organic, natural foods and plants, […]

There’s something about spring that makes me want to immerse myself in flowers. During a recent New York City trip, I wanted to share these creative urges in an interactive way. Along with florist Ariella Chezar—founder of the sustainable Ariella New York floral shop—I cohosted an in-store floral workshop at The Apartment by The Line. The […]
If you walk into Jenni Kayne stores this month, you’ll notice we’ve brought springtime inside—in particular, with an infusion of Topanga Canyon. Because as much as I love coming up with new clothing designs, I’m also passionate about discovering and sharing like-minded product. In that spirit, we’ve created seasonal gift box concepts. For spring, I’ve hand-selected eight […]
One of my favorite places to visit in high spring is Topanga Canyon. Seasonal wildflowers are blooming, and we’re replacing heavy layers with breezy cottons and lightweight silks. It’s now more than ever that I have the opportunity to savor the outdoors. Topanga has enchanted me for many years as I spent much of my […]
As I shared several weeks back, we recently had the opportunity to spend the day at equal parts beautiful and inspirational Silver Lake Farms. A flower farm, full service garden design and maintenance company, and floral design studio, Silver Lake Farms was founded by grower, instructor and champion of urban agriculture Tara Kolla, and has over […]
As I’ve shared before, my love for The Laundress, and their equal parts eco-friendly and luxurious line of detergent, fabric care and home-cleaning products, runs deep. Needless to say, when presented with the opportunity to create an exclusive collaboration with the Brand, I was thrilled. And when I experienced the result of said collaboration, I […]
Something this exciting was difficult to keep to myself, and I’m so happy to now be able to share it with all of you. Online today and in stores tomorrow, Pottery Barn Kids will unveil their first-ever collaboration: Jenni Kayne + Pottery Barn Kids. The exclusive collection for babies and kids includes over fifty pieces for […]
I’ve made no secret of my love for Earth Tu Face’s purely plant-based skincare line (the Skin Stick and Toning Mist have become two I can’t live without). Founded by herbalists Sarah Buscho and Marina Storm, the all-natural range of products is made using organic and wild crafted ingredients, free of chemicals, fillers, fragrances and toxins of any […]
I’ve made no secret of my love for Dora De Larios’ work – both past and present tense – and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to experience her process firsthand. In the time that we shared together, I especially loved seeing and hearing about the gorgeous Majolica plates that she created for the White House, and asked her if we could do something together in the same vein. Much to my delight, she said yes, and I’m thrilled to be offering White House-inspired Majolica Collection, exclusively for Jenni Kayne.
Family-owned and operated, Make Smith is a brand built on tradition and craftsmanship, with a product offering that spans accessories to home goods, made by hand, one at a time, in their local workshop.
One of our favorites joins us for yet another seasonal collaboration!

As you know from my post last week, I’ve finally opened my second location in the Brentwood Country Mart. It’s one of my favorite spaces that I’ve done and I hope that when you visit the store, you love it as much as I do.
After almost ten years of designing my label, I am thrilled to share the opening of my second store with Rip+Tan! My new store is at The Brentwood Country Mart—my favorite destination on the West Side—and our doors have been unlocked since the end of March. I wanted to share images of the store, some tips about how I designed it, and pictures from the opening dinner.
