I usually have some kind of easy and elegant pull-on leather boots in my collection—they’re a staple in my wardrobe and I think a lot of women feel the same. While equestrian styles have a special place in my heart, I also love a good pair of Chelsea boots, too. They’re a bit edgier and look great with skinny jeans or silk dresses. This fall we did a pair of black Chelsea boots with a mid-height block heel and they sold out very quickly. Just this week we introduced the same style in a gorgeous Italian saddle leather; one of my favorite finishes in our footwear collection.
I love how rich the color is and the way it plays off classic blue jeans and winter pieces in shades of ivory and tan. While black heeled boots can feel a bit dressed up, these have a little bit of down-to-earth charm to them that helps them feel at home at the farmer’s market or on a weekend getaway to the country. And since the heel is black you can wear them with easily with black or brown accessories, too! XXJKE
