Over the last several months, I’ve featured Claire Thomas’ un-fussy yet sophisticated food on a regular basis, so when planning a Halloween party catered to the adults – complete with a festive and seasonal menu – I immediately thought of her.
I shared all the details of our spooky celebration for the little ones earlier this week, but we couldn’t go without a get-together for the adults as well. And while the menu and decor might not have been quite as literal as the kids’, there was just as much fun to be had and delicious food to be enjoyed.
The Halloween get-together that the wonderful Amy Blessing and I threw for the kids last year was so great that we had to make it a tradition. And like last year, the afternoon was just perfect – filled with festive and imaginative tricks and treats, and such fun for all of the little ones in attendance.
While planning the kids’ cooking and carving pumpkin party with Annie and Amy, we decided it would be fun to include the adults and set a beautiful table where they could enjoy some delicious food.
