This is our third year hosting a Halloween party for our little ones and, as always, it was such a fun afternoon. The ever-talented Amy Blessing was my co-host again this time around, and put together the all-black table, handmade treats, and a fun craft project that everyone could participate in. Here are the details […]
I was recently chatting with the amazing Amy Blessing (my go-to for all things crafting) and lamenting about the fact that carving pumpkins with the little ones isn’t as fun as one would hope, because it can be so hard. And while she completely agreed, she of course had a solution. The key, she shared, is […]
Some of my favorite get-togethers for the little ones have been those that combined the talents of the amazing Annie Campbell and Amy Blessing (our Halloween cooking and carving party seen here). So with the spooky holiday just around the corner, I couldn’t resist teaming up with these lovely ladies once again. Per usual, they blew […]
Over the last several months, I’ve featured Claire Thomas’ un-fussy yet sophisticated food on a regular basis, so when planning a Halloween party catered to the adults – complete with a festive and seasonal menu – I immediately thought of her.
I shared all the details of our spooky celebration for the little ones earlier this week, but we couldn’t go without a get-together for the adults as well. And while the menu and decor might not have been quite as literal as the kids’, there was just as much fun to be had and delicious food to be enjoyed.
The Halloween get-together that the wonderful Amy Blessing and I threw for the kids last year was so great that we had to make it a tradition. And like last year, the afternoon was just perfect – filled with festive and imaginative tricks and treats, and such fun for all of the little ones in attendance.
In anticipation of Halloween, I wanted to host a fun little get-together that the little ones (and their parents) would really enjoy. For this spooky celebration, I enlisted the help of my friends, chef and party-planning extraordinaires, Annie Campbell & Amy Blessing who helped create a wonderfully hands-on afternoon of cooking and carving for the kids that ended with a delicious meal. And since the get-together was part cooking class, part Halloween party, the little ones were involved in every aspect, making it interactive and so much fun.
